EmergentAI is a research prototype that connects an agentic large language model directly to Rhino through MCP. It reads an existing building model and develops conceptual architectural designs inside the CAD environment, with the designer reviewing and approving each step.
The six-week Phase 1 pilot evolved from a basic LLM-to-3D mechanism into a five-step workflow: site analysis, concept, zoning, floor plan and 3D massing. Each stage leaves an auditable record so design decisions remain under the designer’s control.
